3. PROHIBITIONS
It is not permitted to take shells or snails from the beach.
It is not permitted to eat any fruit from the island as it may be poisonous.
Not recommended for children under 1 year old.
This trip is not recommended for pregnant women.
These last recommendations are suggestions we provide with the intention of protecting our most vulnerable adventurers, as the islands visited are almost untouched and do not have facilities for prenatal emergencies.
We appreciate your understanding in taking them into account.
CANCELLATION POLICY

By making a reservation, the client accepts the following conditions:
1. Cancellation Request
Cancellations must be requested exclusively by the reservation holder via email to: info@ecoatipanama.com
2. Refund Rates
Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance:
100% refund of the amount paid (excluding any administrative fees already incurred, such as supplier reservations or meals).
The refund will be processed within 15 business days after the original tour date, via bank transfer.
Cancellation between 6 and 5 days before the tour:
40% refund of the amount paid (excluding administrative fees).
Rescheduling option: The client can postpone the tour without losing the balance paid (excluding administrative fees). New dates must be notified in advance to confirm availability.
Cancellation 4 days or less before the tour:
No refund.
Exception: If the released spaces are sold, the amount paid will be converted into a credit note valid for 3 months for any other activity.
3. No-Show Policy (No Notification)
If the client does not show up on the day of the tour without prior cancellation:
No refund or credit note will be issued.
Management fees (e.g., entrance fees, reserved transportation) will be charged in full.
4. Emergency Exceptions (Serious Illness or Accident)
With official medical documentation (e.g., hospital certificate or signed medical report):
80% refund of the amount paid (excluding non-refundable management fees).
Or the possibility of rescheduling at no cost within the following 6 months.
Valid only for the reservation holder or immediate family members.
5. Cancellations Due to Flight Changes
If the client presents proof of flight change/cancellation issued by the airline:
Option 1: Reschedule the tour without penalty (subject to availability).
Option 2: Credit note for 100% of the amount paid (excluding administrative fees), valid for 6 months.
Applicable only if notified at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
6. Important Notes
Administrative fees (e.g., non-refundable reservations with suppliers or meals) will be deducted in all cases.
To reschedule, the new date must be coordinated within 3 months of the original tour (except in medical emergencies).
